Agricultural Scholarship
Farm Credit Services Scholarship Fund
Deadline to apply: December 31
This program awards $1,500 in financial support. You must be a child or grandchild of a Farm Credit Mid-America customer. You can attend an accredited two- or four-year college, university, vocational or trade school.

Scholarships are available for individuals majoring in agriculture or pursuing agricultural or rural community related careers.

The online application process takes between 10-30 minutes and must be completed in one sitting.

Only online applications will be accepted.

You may apply for multiple scholarships, but may receive only one Farm Credit Mid-America scholarship per school year.

Applications for the following year are accepted through December 31 of this year. Farm Credit Mid-America Scholars applicants will be notified of the results in February. Customer Agricultural Scholarship applicants will be notified of the results in April .

All scholarship funds will be awarded by August for the fall semester.

Employees and directors of Farm Credit Mid-America and their children are not eligible to apply.

Abe and Betty Zuber Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established in 1986

Students must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale, pursuing in the Business School of Shawnee State University; and be a senior in high school planning to use the scholarship for their first year of studies at Shawnee.
Augusta A. & Rose L. Jacobs Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established in 2007
Deadline to apply: Second Wednesday in March
To be eligible for this scholarship, recipients must be a Scioto County graduate pursue a degree in business, who maintains a 3.0 GPA or better and have achieved a level of studies beyond the freshman year of college.
Thomas Jeffery Chapman Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2007
Deadline to apply: Second Wednesday in March
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be graduates of one of the following high schools located in Scioto County, Ohio: Portsmouth, Portsmouth West, Northwest, Valley, Minford, South Webster, and New Boston; however, preference will be given to applicants that are graduates of Portsmouth High School. In addition, scholarship recipients must plan to major in Business at the Ohio State University.

Provides scholarships for students pursuing education in the healthcare field and provides scholarships for high school graduates of the city schools of Manchester/Adams County, OH. Said scholarships shall be awarded annually on the basis of need and merit.
